Looks like some good news to share about the real estate market in Northwest Arkansas.   The Bentonville/Rogers AR area has seen a large decline in  foreclosure properties.  As of May 15th, the current market in Bentonville, AR reflects only 6 home foreclosures for sale.  Inventory of homes for sale in Bentonville, AR in the MLS total 355.   This means the foreclosure rate has dropped to less than 2% of the supply of homes for sale.  The available foreclosures in Bentonville, AR range from $99,900 to $399,900  and range in price per square foot from $69.48 – $100.46 indicating that the lenders or banks agree that home prices are on the rise in this market.

In Rogers, AR the market report is not much different.  Foreclosures total less that 3% of the available 515 homes on the market for sale at 11 homes.   Foreclosed homes in Rogers, AR range from a 2 bedroom/2 bath listed at $38,610 to a 4 bedroom/3 bath, 3000 sq ft home near Beaver Lake listed at $274,900.    Price per square foot varies greatly from $30.65 to $94.18 per square foot.  There are still some great values in home pricing regardless if the home is a foreclosure or not.   However, prices are on the rise so while the rates are still low it is a great time to buy!
